ANNUAL ICC WORKSHOP Saturday, January 28, 2012 8:00 am to Noon Island Christian Church ELDERS, (both active and inactive), DIACONATE, WORSHIP LEADERS and COMMITTEE MEMBERS WORKSHOP. We will begin with breakfast (Fritz will be make pancakes) and follow immediately with the workshop. This workshop will be both instructional and plenary for 2012. Mark your calendar. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU BE IN ATTENDANCE AT THIS MEETING.
* ANNUAL "SOUPER" SUNDAY Sunday, February 5, 2012 Immediately after worship service Island Christian Church Plan now to be here for this fun and delicious lunch following our morning worship serivce. Several of our Soup Chefs will provide the soups and we will also serve sandwiches. Donations will be received and will go toward the National Souper Sunday offering.
* YOUTH LOCK-IN, FAST and YOUTH SUNDAY for WEEK OF COMPASSION
The weekend of February 18th and 19th, 2012 8:00 am to Noon Island Christian Church will be a night of fun and preparation for our ICC youth. The weekend will begin at noon on Saturday February 18th and conclude with the youth presenting the worship service on Sunday morning. This will be the second time our youth will be doing the Sunday service for our church family. Please plan on being here for this very special service. MID-WINTER YOUTH RETREAT Friday, February 10, 2012 to Sunday, February 12, 2012 Cedar Lakes Conference Center, Ripley WV We are excited that youth from the ICC will be joining attending the Mid-Winter Youth Retreat of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in West Virginia. It promises to be a fine time of Christian fellowship and formation. The attendee's will be accompanied by Youth Minister Lanette Gilbert. For more information regarding the Youth Retreat
